The backup-remote1 server will undergo a physical to virtual conversion.  This process will finalize GB Web Hosts’ goal to achieve high availability and redundancy on all client systems. 

During the upgrade, offsite backup and restorations will be disabled.  If you have an emergency restoration, please contact our support department at 800-516-0992.

GB Web Hosts will be upgrading the code on its remote backup servers. This work will require a stop, installation of updated files and restart of the application. Estimated downtime is no more than ten minutes per server.

Upstream Provider Maintenance Status: Scheduled
Priority - Critical Affecting Other - Ashville, NC Data Center

On Sunday, September 6, 2009 at 02:00 AM through to 02:30 AM Eastern, our upstream network provider will be performing IOS upgrades on their core routers.  This should be a non service impacting upgrade as we will not be performing it simultaneously on all devices.

While we have taken every precaution to minimize complications during this event, there exists a certain amount of risk and the possibility of extended service disruption.
